Best time to visit Tarangire National Park
The best time to visit Tarangire National Park is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. During this period, wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River, providing excellent game viewing opportunities. The park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants, which are more easily spotted in the dry season.
While the dry season offers the best wildlife viewing, the wet season, from November to May, brings lush green landscapes and is a great time for bird watching as migratory species arrive. However, some areas of the park may be inaccessible due to flooding, and wildlife can be more dispersed.
